Year-End Giving 2025: Surpassing $200k in Revenue

The Challenge

The final weeks of the year are critical for non-profit sustainability, accounting for a major percentage of annual operating budgets. Following a successful 2024 campaign that raised $133,781.58, the goal for 2025 was to aggressively scale our digital reach. I was tasked with developing a strategy to break through the “year-end fatigue” and drive a record-breaking level of support from both existing and new donors.

The Strategy

I engineered an omnichannel strategy that balanced high-frequency email marketing with a diverse mix of social media content. My approach involved segmenting email lists to deliver personalized donor appeals while simultaneously deploying a variety of social assets, ranging from emotional video to polished graphic storytelling, to maintain high engagement across all social channels. This ensured our message remained fresh and resonant throughout the month-long push.

To maximize these efforts, I optimized the web donation page for conversions and implemented strategic site-wide popups. By streamlining the path to give and utilizing persistent messaging, we successfully captured donors who might have otherwise missed our direct appeals during the busy holiday season.

The Results

The 2025 Year-End campaign shattered all previous records for the organization, raising a total of $203,145.32. This represents a massive 51.8% year-over-year increase in revenue. Beyond the capital raised, the campaign established a more efficient digital funnel and a highly coordinated cross-platform narrative that sustained donor engagement from the initial launch through the final midnight deadline on December 31st.
